Welcome, Yale Class of ’66!

On Tuesday, September 8, 2026, we welcomed everyone back to ’66 LIVE with an enlightening conversation with Michael Crair, Yale’s Vice Provost for Research and the William Ziegler III Professor of Neuroscience and Ophthalmology & Visual Science, who spoke with us about his mission to encourage research strategy, policy, infrastructure and entrepreneurship among the Yale faculty across the full spectrum of the sciences and arts. He is also the Chair of Yale Ventures, the multi-institutional program for “tech transfer,” that is, the transformation of cutting-edge research into practical and commercially successful companies, and he spoke with us about how his program furthers the institutional goals of the university. Please enjoy this eye-opening talk!
