By Gregory A. Weiss

Announcing the publication of two recent books: Steve Timbers has written his second novel. This one, The Degas Trove, has plenty of Yale connections. Shel Stromquist is proud to announce the publication of his latest book, Claiming the City: A Global History of Workers’ Fight for Municipal Socialism (Feb., 2023, Verso Press, in London and New York). Shel is a professor emeritus of history at the University of Iowa.

Michael Dalby and Jesse Lovejoy continue to deliver fascinating programs under the ’66 LIVE format. Recent guests include Ishaan Tharoor (Yale ‘06), anchor of the Washington Post’s Today’s WorldView, and Yale Athletic Director. Vicky Chun.
