Died: May 28, 1978
John prepared for Yale at Phillips Exeter Academy and entered Yale with the class of 1964, majoring in economics. He was a member of Zeta Psi and of Dwight Hall. He went on leave after his freshman year and returned to join the class of 1966. Upon graduation, he went to law school and then secured a position at the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington. His friends remember him from those years as much the same as he had been at Yale, gracious, articulate, formal, unassuming, and intensely private. John died unexpectedly in 1978.
