Timothy Lee Trusdell

Died: January 13, 2007

Timothy Lee Trusdell of Richmond, VA died January 13, 2007 of lung cancer. He was 62 years old. Mr. Trusdell was born in Evanston, Illinois on August 25, 1944, the son of Mary Louise Cantrell Trusdell and Robert William Trusdell. While attending junior high and high school at Savannah Country Day School in Georgia, he was an athletic standout, lettering in three sports. He was a National Merit Finalist, a member of the National Honor Society, and a first-place winner in the State Science Fair of Georgia. He was honored for outstanding achievement in the National Honor Society Scholarship Program and attended the National Science Foundation’s Science Institute at Emory University. Mr. Trusdell attended Yale University, Jacksonville University, Marietta College, and Virginia Commonwealth University, from which he received a bachelor’s degree in English. He worked in insurance sales and the food service industry, and was mathematics instructor at the secondary school level. Mr. Trusdell is survived by his mother; a brother and sister-in-law, Laurence M. and Judith B. Trusdell of Evanston, Illinois; and a daughter, Natalie Trusdell Gibbon of Charlotte, North Carolina.
